The radon industry in Illinois is strictly regulated by the state. Anyone who is paid to test or mitigate radon, or provides lab services for radon products, is required to obtain and maintain a state license. The Illinois Emergency Management Agency Division of Nuclear Safety (IEMA DNS) Radon Program oversees all the state licensees.
This oversight protects both consumers and good radon service providers and we appreciate their efforts.
