We hold licenses to perform radon testing in both residential and commercial buildings.
Our residential technicians specialize in performing short-term tests, mostly in conjuction with real estate transactions. These tests are a minimum of 48 hours and do require that "Closed Building Conditions" be maintained in the home for the testing period (and 12 hours prior if only 48 hours of data is to be collected). Please use the menu on the left to learn more about residential radon tests.
A commercial testing license is required when testing schools, commercial, industrial, or retail facilities, or for multi-family residential buildings. The state of Illinois requires specific quality assurance project plans to be developed for measurements in schools and commercial buildings and has strict testing requirements for commercial buildings to ensure that any survey performed is a complete survey that has diagnostic value.
